“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither and whatever he does shall prosper.” (Psalm 1:3)—When we plant a tree or flower, its important to dig a hole in the soil. Good fertile soil provides the nourishment that is needed for optimal growth. Sandy soil will not release the proper nutrients that are needed for growth, therefore the tree or flower withers.
Make sure you water and nourish your spirit daily with the word of God. God has plans to prosper you, but you must schedule a meeting with Him to allow your soil(spirit) to receive the nourishment it needs. Think about planting as meeting with the Master. He provides the strength you need to bring forth fruit in season. Don’t allow the enemy to hold up your blessings once God has released them because you’re withered; not spending time with Him. Your leaf may be a child, career, family, healing, comfort, joy, peace, etc., what does it look like? Whatever your leaf is, it must be strong enough to prosper. I challenge to pick away your withered leaves and as you do, you will bring forth fruit in your season as its released. Don’t be afraid to plant, you will only prosper!
