Then the Lord said to Elijah, “Go to the east and hide by Kerith Brook, near where it enters the Jordan River” (1Kings 17:2-3)

There was a place where God commanded Elijah’s needs to be supplied. God told him He had commanded the ravens to feed him there. But here’s what’s important, it was up to Elijah to get to that place of provision. He had to be obedient. He could have said, “God, I’m comfortable where I am. I don’t want to go down there.” No, the problem with that thinking is that the ravens would still have been taking his provision down to the brook. In other words, God would have been supplying his needs, but he would not be in the right place to receive them.

Are you in the right place to receive all that God has for you? God has already provided for you. I pray that you are in the right place to receive your provision. Follow God, your season may be up in the place you are, don’t worry God has already gone before you and made preparations. If you stay where the brook is dried up you are not going to be in the right place at the right time. I know it doesn’t make sense to you now, but if you would allow God to show you the way, you’ll understand when you get there. You are looking for all your needs to be met where you are, and that season is over. Take a step in faith, come out of hiding and stand in your new promotion, position, healing and abundant blessings from God! Amen
