Hammer your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Train even your weaklings to be warriors (Joel 3:10).
We must be prepared for every battle we face. Ephesians 6 reminds us that your battle is not against flesh and blood, but it’s a battle in your mind, your thought life. When thoughts come, do you know the best way to defeat those thoughts? It’s by declaring the Truth, by speaking the promises of God’s Word… “Let the weak say, I’m strong.” Your words have incredible creative power. Your words create a path for your life. That’s why it’s so important to make sure your words line up with God’s Word. You have to train you inner thoughts to line up with God’s thoughts. When you learn to think and speak about your future the way God does, you are equipped and positioned to win every battle! When you speak words of victory, you’ll live a life full of victory. You’ll be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Begin today by declaring that you are more than a conqueror, that you are an overcomer through Christ, that you can do all things through Christ who gives you the strength, that your best days are still out in front of you. As you do, your heart will stay encouraged and you’ll move forward in the victory the Lord has prepared for you!
