Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, “It has come at last salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ.” For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth the one who accuses them before our God day and night (Revelation 12:10).
So many Christians today walk around feeling guilty and condemned, like they don’t measure up. This defeated mindset keeps them from fulfilling their destiny in Christ Jesus. But just like Jesus told the woman caught in adultery, your accuser is gone! Why accuse yourself any longer?
This passage in Revelation makes it clear that the power of the devil is broken. Satan may be the accuser, but Jesus is your defender and He’s never once lost a case! The devil can make accusations all he wants, but in Christ, the charges won’t stick. Jesus already paid for your sins so that you could be free. It doesn’t matter what charges the accuser brings against us because, in Christ, the verdict has been given: You are forgiven! So move forward with your life!
