So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today (Matthew 6:34).
This is the day that the Lord has made! It’s a gift! Don’t get so focused on what you have to do tomorrow that you miss out on the gift of today. The word of God says, ” Don’t worry about tomorrow because tomorrow will take care of itself.” Yes, I know that you have to plan and prepare for the future, but the way to do that is to take care of today.
This verse of scripture is letting you know that you can only live one day at a time. If you are not happy with where you are today, it’s a direct result of the seeds you’ve sown in your past. Where you are in the future is determine by the seeds you sow today, so be careful of how you treat people. Don’t take matters so seriously! Lighten up and learn to laugh! Learn the joy of giving by making service to God and others a main priority in your life. When you feel worried and discouraged, give to others and enjoy the satisfaction of giving.
As you sow good seeds, enjoy the gifts God has already given you, and you’ll find that you are living in the abundance of “The Gift of Today”.
