My Father! If it is possible, let his cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine (Matthew 26:39).
Before the Resurrection, Jesus had to go through the Garden of Gethsemane, down the road to Golgotha, and to the cross. Those were His biggest challenges. The enemy always fights us the hardest when he knows we are closest to our victory. This is where most people give up. I want to encourage you today to stand strong focusing on the Word of God! Don’t allow the enemy to cause a distraction. His distraction will cause you to give up! The fact is, you’re almost there! Keep your mind on the promise and not the problem!
There were times I wanted to give up on things that I had started. The enemy was fighting me tooth and nail, and almost won. I thank God for the encouragement that I received from others to hang on! I’m so thankful I did, because I now realize that the enemy was well aware of the blessing God had in store for me. His main objective was to keep me from reaching that next level. He didn’t win! When it became the hardest, I realize I was the closest to my blessing! Through faith, strength, and encouragement I received the victory!
Stay focus on the promise and don’t allow the enemy to steal your victory! It’s on the way! As the songs says “Victory is Mine”
