But now your kingdom must end, for the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart ( 1Samuel 13:14).
Are you willing to lose your position or God’s plan for you because of the struggles you are facing? Samuel told Saul you have not kept the command the Lord gave you, had you kept it, the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.
Some of us are in leadership positions and don’t even realize that you have been replaced because of your unwillingness to serve others with excellency. You’re so concerned about your own difficulties or your own control issues or a new position that you’re losing your focus. Refocus and seek God! Don’t let it end!
When Samuel told King Saul his reign would end, he referred to a man he had not yet met. David turned out to be the one Samuel called “a man after God’s own heart.” David went through a lot and God used the difficulties of his life to refine him. God is also using your difficulties and struggles to grow you, and prepare you for your future. The size of your problem may well be an indication of the size of your future. If you are facing a big problem, don’t get discouraged. God may well be preparing you for something big in your future. Whenever God gives us a Goliath. He always gives us the strength, the determination, and the fortitude to overcome. We will never face a challenge in life that, with God’s help, we cannot overcome.
Even when its difficult, even when the bottom fails out, in the middle of that adversity, there will be a supernatural strength, a peace that passes all understanding, a joy rising up in your spirit. God gives you exactly what you need when you need it!
