9They said, ‘Whenever we are faced with any calamity such as war, plague, or famine, we can come to stand in your presence before this Temple where your name is honored. We can cry out to you to save us, and you will hear us and rescue us.’ (2Chronicles 20:9)

During Jehoshaphat’s prayer he reminded God of all He had done for his ancestors, as he stood in front of the Temple where His name was honored.

Create an atmosphere in your home where God can be honored. A place where you can go to him in prayer to thank him for all He has done in your past as well as what He is going to do in your future. Everyday you should commit to standing in the presence of God. A place where if you need to cry, you can cry and its a safe place. And the most wonderful peace about crying out is that, if you are operating in your “new man/woman”, He hears you and will rescue you.
