Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. (1Corinthians 16:13)
No one said life was going to be easy. Even as Christians we face difficult and discouraging times. However we can depend on our friends, family and our ultimate God to help us through. Then we are able to find courage to face another day during our darkest hour with joy and strength of the Lord.
Eleanor Roosevelt advised, “You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every great experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.’ You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”
When your courage is tested to the limit, remember you strength comes from the Lord! He is your light and your salvation; whom shall you fear? The Lord is the strength of your life; of whom shall you be afraid? Psalm 27:1
